Criterion design director Fas Salim is the person tasked with "ensuring those stages are as fun and interesting as possible for the gamers."
In spite of reports that the scope of the game had put a strain on the different studios collaborating globally to build the game, the director is upbeat about the work.
"Working with varied backgrounds, different heritages, it's a very fascinating environment to be engaged with daily," he explains.
"The complete method has been something new but also truly thrilling because we are working with individuals from around the globe."
As for the anticipation on the team, he states: "There is stress but also it's exciting.
"We're dealing with a large undertaking. It's arguably the most significant that most of us have before participated in."
Emerging Artist Brings Innovative Perspective
That's definitely true of at least a single staff, VFX specialist Vlad.
This young professional makes the lighting elements that influence the tone, tone, and narrative of the single-player campaign.
Vlad completed an internship at Criterion prior to getting a role with them, and now operates with reduced hours while finishing his digital arts degree at Bournemouth University.
Vlad explains he's a dedicated enthusiast of the games, and recalls playing the fourth instalment of the series at a pal's home when he was younger.
Working on it now, as his initial career position, "seems unreal real."
"It's truly crazy observing the promotion everywhere," he says.
"To know that I have added my individual work into the game is really unbelievable."
Launch Expectations and Long-Term Strategies
