The House Oversight Committee has released a batch of around 70 photos secured from the holdings of former adjudicated individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the third publication from a larger collection of more than 95,000 images the panel has obtained from Epstein's holdings. It contains images of excerpts from the novel Lolita written across a female's body, and obscured images of female foreign passports.

This disclosure occurs hours before the 19th of December deadline for the DOJ to disclose all records related to its inquiry into Epstein.

"These images bring up further queries about what exactly the DOJ has in its holdings," said the senior Democrat of the panel, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photos Disclosed

A number of the photographs made public on Thursday depict Epstein speaking with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky inside a private jet; Bill Gates seen next to a woman whose features is redacted; Steve Bannon sitting at a workstation facing Epstein, and previous Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the latest high-net-worth, prominent men to be seen in Epstein property photos disclosed by the committee - earlier disclosed photos also depict US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, ex- US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Being pictured in the photos is is not considered evidence of any misconduct, and many of the photographed men have said they were in no way implicated in Epstein's unlawful actions.

In a announcement issued alongside the photograph publication, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein estate's representatives did not offer background information or dates for the pictures.

"Photos were picked to offer the American people with clarity into a representative sample of the images obtained from the estate, and to give insights into Epstein's circle and his extremely disturbing activities," the release states.

The disclosure also contains a number of photographs of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita inscribed in black ink across different parts of a woman's body, including her torso, foot, hipbone, and rear. Lolita tells the account of a minor who was manipulated by a middle-aged literature professor.

An example of a excerpt from the book scrawled across a female's chest says, "Lolita: the end of the tongue traveling of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a number of photographs of female identification and identification documents from nations globally, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the data on the IDs, such as names and birth dates, is obscured but the panel indicated in a statement that the travel documents belong to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were involved with".

An additional image shows Epstein positioned at a desk intimately flanked by three female figures whose faces have been censored - one individual has her hand on Epstein's torso under his clothing, and a second is crouching to examine a nearby computer. Epstein can be seen to be helping the third attach a bracelet.

An additional photo released is a capture of SMS messages from an unnamed person who says they have been provided "several females" and are demanding "$$1,000 per girl".

Photograph Release Comes Prior to DOJ Cut-off

The committee has a vast number of photos in its custody from the Epstein holdings, which are "both explicit and mundane," its press release on recently explained.

The House Oversight Committee first legally compelled the estate of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York jail in 2019 while facing trial on accusations of sex trafficking, in August.

The images and records the Epstein property submitted to the body are different than what is largely termed "Epstein-related records". Those files are records within the justice department's custody related to its separate probe into Epstein.

Pursuant to the recently passed law, which the President enacted last month, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to disclose its files. The extent of what is included in the DOJ's records is unknown, and it's probable that a large amount of the content will be significantly redacted, akin to Congressional documents
